DA recently has had hijackers find ways to basically "hijack" your account. This is a fairly new epidemic which I am sure will be sorted by the DA staff soon enough.

For the mean time be aware of the fallowing information below!

If you happen to receive comments like:

: Hey. this person wrote something about you in their blog, CLICK HERE.

hey! check this out! I just saw who my Secret VALENTINE WAS !! it really works.. see who your VALENTINE is just CLICK HERE

hey i thought this iQ quiz was cool. i just took mine!!

Hey. check out this funny blog! LOL CLICK HERE.

One major problem is the spam messages can always be "re-worded" or changed completely as time goes on so do not just look out for this one, but also lookout for new ones!

Don't also just say "hey If its a close friend I wont take caution" WRONG!!! for all you know your friend could of just been hit by the virus and is then trying to infect you. So be very cautions on RANDOM messages.





HOW DO THEY APPEAR?!

Please do not click those link. DO NOT CLICK IT! It will take you to a fake dA log in page which will steal your log in details if entered. --then the hacker will start spamming the same message to those you watched. This process continues until DA has no other choice, but to BAN you account.

WHERE ARE THEY USUALLY FOUND?!

The messages are usually located on the front page of your DA account and or in NOTE's, but it could be a deviation comment, too!

WHAT CAN WE DO?!

If you receive a comment like this,MARK IT AS SPAM by using the "Mark as spam button" on the comment bar. This will alert moderators to it and will also hide the comment --so others won't be caught out.

if you accidentally clicked on it, make sure you change your password ASAP, and mark the comment as spam! It would be wise to scan your computer for any viruses as well.

If you are not sure you are "infected" or not, check your recent activities so you can take action asap.

You can always check if the link is genuine by checking the status bar on your browser. Mouse over the link and you'll be able to see which page it will lead you to.
