As some of you know or may not know...there is a peculiar Phishing Scam affecting the users of deviantART for the last days (or maybe even weeks). The aforementioned scam's origin is unknown as of now, but some people are investigating on their own since dA's Staff apparently hasn't done anything yet to thoroughly investigate this matter that has become a thorn in some of our paths.

This Scam hides itself behind an user account to post an invitation to click some link that leads you to a "Login" area where they urge you to use either your dA User Name and Password or even your E-mail and its corresponding Password. The users who have been tricked into doing this have been victims of this scam as the spambot uses the provided password and accout name to use the same message it used on the infected user to his or her friend's account so the virus will spread. Tragically, this has been the case as you can see in almost every userpage there is proof of the scam.

Now, the subject at hand is that the responsible party for this scam has found their way to trick more people via the use of notes. My friend has been noted by a "friend" to click into some site to check nude art, but sadly my friends this is only another trick.
