Alright, so you all say there are hackers going about Deviantart accounts, hijacking them and using your account to do the same to your friends.

The solution

1. KNOW YOUR FRIENDS
This is important. Think, Have your friends EVER sent you a link saying a generic message, with the words CLICK HERE as the link? No, if I were to link something as human it would be like this.

2. INSPECT LINK PROPERTIES

Obvious hack is obvious.

Not DaBLOG, Deviatart would not create blog sites.

What does it mean?

I told you, this is not a blog.

blogspace, myspace, or any other blog never had BLOG as the domain host.

Dab Log is short for DATABASE LOG. This logs the info in a web page from simply your account info probably all the way to the ones and zeroes of the very website. This technique is called a second gen spyware/adware, it does not insert itself directly on a computer, so it is not individually harmful, BUT, it functions just like a a lure, could bring you to a marketing research project, to someones sick game of having you buy more computers and software. thus the virus used here is no harm, but what it can lead to may be the final blow.

also, NEVER click anything with just the domain name and end.

EXAMPLE: [missing www. / dblog.] domainname . com

This is another script/program used to hide the suspicious dblog part, fooling you to thinking it is a legitimate site.

A warning to the users:
This could mean for you, a new way a hacker can inject malware onto your system, and hopefully this helped explain a lot.

A warning to administration:
This may be harmless as it seems to you, but these very hacks are known to completely duplicate the very site itself to make a "pirated" version of this website, even a pishing domain to lure more into their scheme.
