I'm sure this would be okay to post as news right? It's a fun thing I thought up for everyone to take part in, but I only have so many watchers, and I'd like to get more people involved in this. (Also, I wasn't sure what category to put this in.


What is RP Day? A day where you spend ALL day acting as your OC. We'll be having one Saturday and Sunday. That way, if you miss one, at least you'll hopefully be able to be in the next one. :b

How do you participate? Pick one of your OCs (original character). They can be fan characters of any franchise or they can be totally original, it's all up to you! Post a journal as that character to let people know you're playing (so they don't get confused) and try to post a link back to this article so they can join in if they want. :b

OOC ("out of character") comments are to be left in double brackets ((like this)). If you wanna use something else, feel free. [Like this] or {This} or you can use a different font style. Like bold <b>, underline <u>, italics <i>, etc.

You're allowed to stop and start whenever you want. Feel free to take a break.

It's basically like your OC has taken over your account. Meaning they control EVERYTHING (comments, replies, journals, deviations). You can leave out deviations if you like, but at our first one, quite a few submitted pics/IDs as their characters.

You can only use a character once each week. If you don't have many OCs, then feel free to ignore this rule. And try to stay as one OC throughout the day. If you must change, be sure to let people know. If your OC is part of a pair or (small) group, then feel free to use them at once/alternating.

I noticed at our first RP Day, quite a few of the journals ended up on the Today page, confusing some random passers by, so try to remember to link to this article somewhere, just in case someone needs to know what's going on.

On the first one I had, we got quite a few people involved and we all had a BLAST. I just hope we can get more people into this. It's really fun! Seriously. xD
