Carnaval is celebrated all over the world! Each February in every small and big city is preparing full of colors, glitter, fireworks, glamour, crazy fun, but after all - full of love CARNAVAL CELEBRATION. Let's see how carnaval festivities inspire Deviant Artists!

If you still don't know everything about the Carnaval, let me present a short explanation:
Carnival (aka Mardi Gras) is the tradition of holding a wild costume festival right before the beginning of Lent. It originated in the middle of the second century in Rome when the Fast of the 40 days of Lent was preceded by a feast lasting several days. It possibly has its roots in a primitive festival honoring the beginning of the new year and the rebirth of nature and may be linked to the pagan Saturnalian festival of ancient Rome. Because Catholics were not supposed to eat meat during Lent, they called their festival, carnevale — which means “to put away the meat.”
