His user name is dogboy74, so yeah, expect some dog art from his gallery. What you should not expect though, is run of the mill pet works, his photography goes way beyond that with a wonderful collection of characters. Dogs of all types, done in some really cool ways to bring out the shades and tones of each piece make his gallery worth the visit. Photography is a lot more than just changing shutter speeds, focal depth, and whatnot, it also has a lot to do with great framing of the subject matter and a sense of time in order to get the perfect shot. Johns-labyrinth not only has that, but some great patience to go back and recreate the shot under different weather conditions, and what really moved me, he has a keen sense of perspective to pull off some awesome photos. Glad I took the time to look through his works.

It was so difficult narrowing down images to show from his gallery, there were so many that moved me and his collection has such a wonderful diversity to it. An illustrator by trade, his collection ranges from children's story book type of works, to deeply moving cultural works, and a range of comic book type of works. All of them done extremely well, and all worth taking a look at.

Gritty, some are kind of dark, and grand, in a graphic novel kind of way, he has a cool style of artwork going on. What blows me away is how many details come out in so many of his works that were "speed" painted. Simply amazing that some of the ones shown here were done in an hour or two. Glad I was able to find his art while browsing so that it could be shared here.

She had less than 250 page views when I stumbled upon her gallery. That's quite shocking when you take a long look at her works, they are so full of detail and creativity. From the land of fantasy and fairy tales, her gallery captures the magic of that style in grand fashion.



It's great to be back in the Underground. Life got in the way while I was in tech school but the series is back and full of great art. Thanks for the suggestions, more to come from the notes in the future.
