The Theme: Relationships
I thought of the idea of using Relationships as a theme mostly by thinking of Jazzi. The relationship I had with her was intense, full of ups and downs and twists and turns, a lot of love and many other colourful emotions. Relationships can be such fickle things, but one thing is for sure, you cannot survive this world without them. I've not seen another dA contest to use Relationships as a theme so I thought it was quite original too. And it should be loads of fun to see what everyone comes up with! There are so many possibilities, I hope you're all as excited as I am!!

Some definitions of "Relationship":

Rules:
- Must use my stock. Does not have to be made completely from my stock, but the more of my images you use the more 'brownie points' you get! You can use ANY element of my stock images, either Background Stock and/or Equine Stock - the choice is yours!
- Must be made specifically for this contest.
- The theme for this contest is "Relationships". Your artwork must portray a relationship of some (any!) kind.
- There is a limit of 2 entries per person.
- On each entry there must be a link to this Journal in the Artist Comments.
- Please send me a link to your entry by commenting on this [link] Journal. Otherwise your entry will not be counted!!
- The closing date for this contest is 11am (Sydney, Australia Time) April 30th, 2009. No late entries will be accepted. That's over 2 months to get yourself sorted!

- Entries can be submitted either in the Digital Art > Photomanipulation category, Digital Art - Digital Drawing/Painting/Airbrushing category or Traditional Art > Drawing/Painting category.
All categories will be judged under the same criteria.

PLEASE NOTE ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BECOMING A JUDGE. Be aware that you won't be able to enter the contest if you are a judge!

Judges Criteria:
- Creativity ~ Uniqueness, imagination, originality
- Execution ~ Are the relationship/s portrayed well?
- Technical ~ Do all elements of the artwork work well together?
- Stock Use ~ Has ALL stock used been credited appropiately?
