This is a special feature article honoring a very talented deviant, `hakubaikou, who passed away in a car accident very recently. She was a senior member on DeviantART and a part of our community for 5 years.

She was a lovely young woman with a heart of gold and will be greatly missed.

Her family gives these final words of parting:
As some of you may have heard, Hakubaikou recently passed away in a car accident. Her death was instant, and she did not suffer any pain.
My sister loved art, and she loved interacting with everyone on this site, and meeting fellow artists at the conventions. I remember when she first discovered the online art community. She didn't have any local friends who were into drawing, and she was just giddy that she could meet so many other artists, right from her room. And of the people she met, many became good friends, as close to her as any other. I know for certain that my sister was very happy with her life, especially in recent years, and I thank you all for being a part of it.(Excerpt from the journal on her page)
Feel free to leave your condolences in comments on this article and/or on her page. Remember her as the beautiful, brilliant, and wonderful artist she was!Fly with the dragons you so often painted
Sing with the angels
And may you rest in peace, dear one. With love and sympathy,

I now have a few photos for stock use located at *gild-a-stock please check out her stock!!!
I also put images in my scraps that can be used
But why, such talent is lost? This person has SUCH gorgeous art, and I bet their personality was even more brilliant.. I am so saddened by this news.
I hope her memory always stays to fellow artists here or anywhere, and can learn from her talent left behind

Think your life sucks? A man was nailed through his hands and feet onto a tree. Before that he was whipped and wore a crown of thorns. He committed no crime, but his blood was used to pay for our sins. His name was Jesus Christ.
There are no words that can be said to ease your pain and loss easily. Life is important, and should always be cherished. Although I did not know hakubaikou, I believe she will still be remembered: her artwork will live on. Let us remember that she was and always will be a deviant, and I believe that all of deviantart will sorely miss her. May she rest in peace, her love of art undiminished. And may we never forget, the one fellow deviant who was always a friend and had a burning passion for art.
