Recently, notes, cahinmails and journals spread all around DeviantArt, leaving warnings about a virus.
"If someone by the name of Alfred Hundana (dragon_heart620) wants to add you to their list, don't accept it. It's a virus. Tell everyone on your list because if somebody on your list adds them you will get it, too. It is a hard drive killer and a very horrible virus. Please pass this on to everyone on your list. We need to find out who is using this account. Sorry for the inconvenience. Right click on your group name of your buddy list and click Send Message to all plz"
This virus has nothing to do with DeviantArt!A few days ago I received the first notes of this, thinking it was a joke. The next day, I had over 20 notes in my inbox with the exact same text.
Truth is, this virus spread on another website or community. Someone had the idea to spread this note on DA as well and it got out of control.
We all remember the spam-flood only a few weeks ago. This one doesn't steal your account, but the spam is just as annoying.
Factors how to recognize that this is a feke and has nothing to do with us:
Here a short summary of how you can control by yourself that this is not from DA. (Maybe this prevents future spam-mails from spreading... hopefully...)
-If someone by the name of Alfred Hundana (dragon_heart620) wants to add you to their list, don't accept it
- On DA you can add people to your list without them agreeing. Either you watch someone or not. You can block users of course, but accepting someone adding you to their friends-list is impossible.

-The user is banned by now, so the problem is solved anyway.
-The user joined '23. February'
-The first note I got about this was on February 22. Funny, isn't it?
-We need to find out who is using this account.
-They already mentioned above how the person using the account is called. This implicates that I think this whole note is a fake. Maybe there isn't even a community/website that faces this problem right now.
Please think before you answer such notes!!! If there is a real virus going around on DA, usually the mods report about it! So go watch them for information. They do an awesome job in keeping this community safe!

90% of all teens would have a breakdown if they saw Hannah Montana standing on the edge of a 6 story building... I'm one of the 10% yelling "JUMP!!!!!"
92% of the teen population has switched to rap. I'm also one of the 8% who STILL ROCKS!

I'm a pathological liar. Honest.

Incorrect. You may never find the person or who he is. It can be one step away from being impossible to be discovered. Why?
IP is the only lead you're probably be looking at. But is it reliable? Is it spoofed? Is it a proxy?
You see, it can be millions ways to hide your IP.
He may return if he have advance knowledge of the network communication. He can always will, no matter how hard you can you may not be able to stop everyone from doing corruption.
The idea of being all solved with a ban? I highly doubt it and it just in fact caused more conflict as long a person have experiences in networking.
