Got a flatbed scanner? Missed the "Sexy Deviants" train? Read on...
This is yet another chance for you to bring forward your goofy side. Put your head directly on your scanner, optionally along with some decorative items or props, and scan!
Just a quick
sample deviation so you can get an idea how it works.
Be creative; try to set up a scene; tell us a story; invite a friend to take part in the picture; give a public message.
Rules
1. Please send in your creation to
magna@magnetiq.com.
2. Try to make the image's longer side somewhere about 800 pixels long. If you're scanning at a high DPI, don't forget to resize the image prior to sending (big file = clogged-up mailbox).
3. Don't scan photographs. No webcam shots. Our patented ScanSense(TM) system will detect and reject any non-scans.
Caution
---------
1. Don't directly stare at the scanner light. It's not as bright as the sun, but it might hurt your eyes anyway. Use sunglasses, or just keep your eyes shut.
2. Think twice before using your pet as part of the scenery. Most people find it evil to
scan pets.
3. If you have an oily skin, don't touch your nose on the glass. If you grease the glass, you'll probably have to wipe it with some alcohol-based agent.
4. Ask for assistance. It's hard to click the SCAN button while posing.
Deadline
There's no apparent deadline for this. I'll put the stuff together when the public attention fades and submissions cease.
