Feb 1 World's First Lens Calendar by *sharadhaksar (Metalwork)

Carved out of a block of aluminum and made to look like a real lens, this is a calendar that will be available soon on the artist's website and he has even applied for a patent on this brilliant design. The suggester wrote, "This craft, a wonderful combination of a camera lens and calendar, took *sharadhaksar 4 months to develop. He captured the real look and feel of the lens and added such a neat, inventive, and original concept to create it! Just one quick look in its direction will leave you thinking it's a lens, but upon closer inspection, a wonderful surprise ensues!" You'll definitely want to see this one in full-view. Feb 2 A Parasol for Agatha by ~blackeyedsuzie (Custom Dolls)

Deceptively spare and simple, the suggester wrote of this doll, "Isn't she cute? Yes, her Tim Burton style with this pink color is unique and makes her cute!" Suggested by `karemelancholia.


Feb 3 Dragonfly Guitar 045 by ~myka-x (Woodworking)

What better way to mark the 50th anniversary today of the death of rock pioneer Buddy Holly than to highlight the superb custom guitar building skills of David Myka of Myka Guitars with his Dragonfly Custom 045. Fullview is highly recommended, but you absolutely must go to his website to hear some recorded sounds of this model, they'll leave you wanting more, much much more.


Feb 4 Harley Chic by ~WearableByDesign (Jewelry)

It's not very often you come across steampunk jewelry that wasn't assembled with parts taken from vintage or antique watches and clocks, but this Harley Chic necklace is definitely the exception. Each part in this necklace was carved out of Precious Metal Clay, and in this case the precious metal is fine silver, which is 99.9% pure silver. Well done, both in construction and design concept! Feb 5 Climbing: before the downpour by ~shekman321 (Architectural Design)

The suggester wrote, "The way that it just hangs there is so cool and what also appeals to me is the bamboo, that it represents the personal space of the clone. The shape that I can discern from the image is a sort of ellipse, which seems like a very practical concept. And, it's such a fitting material to use for rounded shapes (bamboo) as it bends naturally into an elliptical curve. The way the body is formed from cardboard is also great because he has created a 3-D form using flat pieces of paper, very cool!" Suggested by ~biltongboy.


Feb 6 Alien Costume 2 by ~GothamCityOrphan (Miscellaneous)

Looking out through slits in the throat of this costume, the artist was able to attach the alien's head above his own head, making him over 7 feet tall! About two months in construction time and made out of latex. Do be sure to check out his gallery to see other views of this costume!


Feb 7 Red Mad Hatter by *Heidilu22 (Culinary Arts)

Red Mad Hatter by *Heidilu22 is a vanilla and raspberry cake, a real stunner and weighed about 90 lbs! The suggester wrote that it "is such a perfect, quirky cake with an appropriate name! Its whimsical composition brought me a smile." Suggested by =Inqy.


Feb 8 Apparel: Skintenna Top by ~Bright-Circle (Jewelry)

Art in the form of jewelry as apparel and constructed of thousands of 4mm and 6mm fire-polished beads and teardrops for the hem fringe. The suggester wrote, "~Bright-Circle strives in creating a lot of different, unique pieces of artisan crafts. Feb 9 Crabby by ~melkatsa (Plushies)

Crabby by ~melkatsa is a plush pillow and probably the largest and most adorable crab you'll ever see. And, he can be posed in the cutest ever poses, too! Please do be sure not only to see this one in fullview, but also to browse ~melkatsa's gallery because she is donating 50% of the proceeds on some of her plushies to the Love146 program, a non-profit charity registered with the Better Business Bureau that works to abolish child sex trafficking. Feb 15 Spoon lotus NEW by ~immoliate

Using only his bare hands and no tools or solder, ~immoliate devises all his designs with only flatware as the medium. A must-see in fullview! Suggested by ~biltongboy and also by =MyntKat and ~intricate-illusion.


Feb 16 Peridot, YellowSapphire, 18K by ~jonpalombi (Jewelry)

The artist made this pendant/slide out of 18K yellow and rose gold and bezel-set within are a very large emerald-shaped peridot and trillion-shaped yellow sapphire.


Feb 17 Labyrinth Box by ~JMWJewelry (Metalwork)

A wood, copper, and brass box that closes with a bayonet catch, about 6" (15cm) in diameter. A must-see in fullview to be able to take in all the details.


Feb 18 Antique d2 desert by ~amoebabloke (Metalwork)

The steampunk version of R2-D2. At first glance, he only looks big in the photo, but he's really just a little guy at about 5" (12.5cm) in height and about 3" (7.5cm) wide. Made of wood, brass, glass, and steel, and he is just awesome to see in fullview!

Feb 21 Iron Rhapsody by ~Iron-Rhapsody (Metal Work)

Appaloosa Stallion, 36" x 44" (91.5cm x 111.5cm), which includes the mane that extends beyond the frame. The mane consists of over 60 pieces to make it look flowing in high relief. A special application of patina emulates the "mottled" patterns common to this breed. The suggester said this about this exciting piece of art: "I actually thought this was a hand-drawn deviation until I clicked it and realized it was made from metal. The mane is incredible! The suggester said that this artist has "a startling knack for making headgear" and this particular deviation is a multi-colored hat and dreads in wool. Suggested by *cl2007.


Feb 25 Paradox Keyboard by ~ParadoxTentacles (Miscellaneous)

The high-quality workmanship on this steampunk keyboard includes vintage typewriter keys, but also outfitted with fully-functional LED lights for the caps lock, number lock, and scroll lock. Suggested by *leftyfro.


Feb 26 Saint George and the Dragon by *IsabellasArt (Folding & Papercraft)

*IsabellasArt is "inspired by fairytales, folklore, mythology, fantasy, literature, music, and old shadowpuppets." As you can see here, Saint George and the Dragon is a shadow puppet... it is laser-cut and very delightful, especially in fullview. Suggested by =pronouncedyou.
