The concept of four elements making up our world as we know it originated in ancient Greek culture. Later physicists and chemists proved the Greeks idea to be right. Everything is made up of smaller particles, nothing is as it seems. You could also say that the world is layered and there is something hidden inside everything.
A little more modern slant on the theory of four elements is that there are five, not four: Air, Fire, Water, Earth and Spirit.
The series of these articles will focus on that concept of elements and I will try to express the beauty of each by showing the public photographs that captured something amazing associated with each element.
This is the third article in the series, Water. No one really thinks about it that way so much, especially people who have access to fresh clean water all the time, but water is as important to us as oxygen. Over the last few decades, pollution went off the charts, we are taking an hour long showers and people in some places of Africa dont have clean water to drink. Sorry but this sounds like madness to me. Nonetheless, I dont have power to change this. So instead, I focus on the beauty of the water element.
Enjoy and keep the pollution levels low, love our oceans.
