If the Community Relations team is a sports team, then =inactivelikeme is a cheerleader. Inactive Like Me is a massive user based community project advocating for change. Not only do we have a database of over 1,800 names of inactive users, but we're also working to adopt out accounts that are no longer wanted or needed.

We believe deviantArt is an amazing community and want to see it grow and flourish. We don't fault them for their current system and procedures, but we do recognize room for development and change. It is due to this reason and our large name count that we've finally created a petition to delete unused accounts so others may have a chance to utilize those names.

Don't worry! We aren't targeting people who take a vacation for a month or forget to log on for a year. Life is hectic, things happen, we're all human and our life doesn't stop for a website. The target of this petition is more specific and balanced.

If the account has been inactive for four years or more, with no activity what so ever, then we're petitioning to delete it. If you have even one deviation on your account, this rules you out.
