Welcome to the my seventh top ten feature. The turn out of contestants for this feature this weekend went very well. The feature before this one there was plenty of good artists to choose from and there were a lot of people in the running for this feature however only ten shall reach the title of top ten picks and receive a promotional critique but the runners up will still get featured. Everyone please give these people your love, comments or favorites.
In addition, this feature I asked everyone what they thought about the rate of advancement in data storage or the rate in technology in general. Half seemed to know nothing about the subject and the other half seem to feel that the exponential rate of technologic advance is mind blowing.
King-Rastels Top Ten:The top ten selected are in no particular order and does not signify that anyone is better than another because art is often subjective and all art has worth.
Life by =kapolei

This wonderful shot really shows one of the feelings of what city life really feels like. Even though this is a digital shot and could have been crisper with awesome color the artist did an awesome job in producing a more aged vintage photo.

Flowers for Ingrid -- Part III by ~aimeelikestotakepics
This interesting and imposing setup really gives the viewer a sense of loneliness, longing, and curiosity in the visual story told through the use of simplicity and subtle cues.

forgive my pride by ~Humanization

This shot goes really well with the poem that accompanies it. Like a chameleon a good number of people wear metaphorical masks to blend in as to hide who they truly are despite if they lived up to their true selves people would be more accepting of them.

An empty seat at sunset by *grubbyboy

This gorgeous shot not only shows off a masterful skill in composition, timing and sense of color but also shows not only the artists hopeless romantic side but also that of the viewers who gaze upon its beauty. Makes one just want to take their loved one their just to find this one spot and that one fleeting moment.
Burnt Alive by ~noniq

This beautiful painting shows an artist who as on the rise in skill and shows much promise due to dedication and desire to do well.

big ben by ~matchieck

Always a sucker for angled shots of buildings like this I was impressed but the crispness, contrast, color and waiting the right moment for that right lighting situation. The angled shot emphasizes the name Big Ben by having it tower over use dwarfing us in its grandeur.

The Approach by ~Maimoy
This fun photomanipulation shows an artist who has a good understanding of composition and one could easily see this used in a number of different magazines.

Sascha by *Wee-ell

This wonderful Dev ID comes off as a superb surrealistic piece that conveys a feeling of Synesthesia in which the viewer can visually feel the piece and sparks the imagination.

Unholy bride by *unholy-scribe

Like a boogy from the old tales of Europe this would strike fear in even the most harden of husbands to be. An excellent use of composition, line, inking, negative and positive space.
Animal by ~ZootCadillac

I have always been a Muppet fan and Animal was always among my favorites and while I admit that this did what initially catch my eye it was also the excellent skill that went into the composition, color and over all spirit of the character.
King-Rastels Runner Ups: Just because these artists did not make the top ten picks it does not mean that they are no less deserving of a feature. These artists were in serious consideration for the top ten picks so they deserve loving as well.
To all remaining participants I would like it to be known that I payed equal attention to everyone who participated in this feature and I would appreciate anyone who would also pay a visit to their galleries as well.
