While you may enjoy your favourite deviations, other people may not notice them at all. Unknown Favourites is a small project of mine to promote unknown favourites. Volunteers can send me a note of images from their Favourites gallery, by artists that have been neglected by almost everyone else. This is meant for unknown artists with under 100 favourites on an image.

These articles will cover a few different sections of art. Including Photography, Traditional, Digital as main sections, and more specialised sections that need some loving, such as: Original (please no fan art) Comics Cartoons and Manga, Artisan Crafts and Literature.

Capped with serene textures from the water, clouds and rocks. Only to be furthered by such stunning colours.

Is a perfect example of using objects in the foreground to enhance the main subject.
It's an extremely nostalgic and subtle photo with a perfect feel.



Whispers in the dark by ~ekhoz
Such a beautifully intriguing and mysterious photo, all in perfect harmony.
The classic black and white just aids it.



Mellow Yellow by *AstridT
Great focus and DOF, coupled with a bright, cheery yellow.
The lighting is excellent, and shows great skill.

=shesaghost has a real talent in creating expression and power in her photographs. Whether it be by the right choice of colour, angle or perfect capture, she has the talent to go places. Becca is a must watch deviant.

Infection by ~stawil
I love this piece for its subtle emotion and pop of colour.
The rough lines work well, and are contrasted beautifully with the flow of the hair.
All in all I find this work spectacular and extremely well done.

Aerial Cephalopod, C.O.W. 132 by ~RivetsAndRain
A very whimsical sort of image, I love how the fins become sort of wings on it's journey into the unknown skies.


Robot Graveyard I by ~failur3
This is one of my most favourite images from my favourites.
It has an almost retro feel to it and the atmosphere is quite nostalgic.


Encounter by ~brontosaurus
~brontosaurus has a wonderful art style, his images always seem to have such a fun quality to them.


Rage for Order by ~Silverleaf91
The artist's comment says "Done in twenty minutes", but the colour and depth has appeal to it that I love.
