What a wonderful find for the world art community. I hope they wind up in a museum and not a private collection where we'll not be able to marvel at them.
The National Gallery of Scotland announced that the painting, "The Madonna of the Yarnwinder" by Leonardo da Vinci will go on display in the Gallery from today.
On a hopefully monthly basis, I plan to feature artists of a specific medium, rotating every month. This will get you exposure while forcing me to contemplate things out of my element. Consider it being a photographer rebelling against all the photography features. Next month's features will be literature.
Now, I am by no means in the know-how regarding traditional art, but I like to think that I can identify talent or just something amazing anyway. There was no specific criteria these artists had to meet (favorites, pageviews, etc.) except that their art had to show considerable skill in some fashion. These are the pieces I ended up selecting to feature, and I highly encourage you all to view these and the artists' galleries.

First news feature, hooray! I did it right, yes? (don't you dare say no!)
For saying that, you, my good sir, will be banned from sugar-based products when I become the world ruler.
I'm surprised it even came through. My computer started making the sound it makes when it's overheating, which means I have about ten seconds to finish what I'm doing before it all shuts down. It was still loading when the computer turned off

There wasn't any time to save it anywhere . It was either hit "submit" or wait another two days for it to be put up (one day for mourning, another for laziness)
Just try and steal his gold!
My brain is pooped, so I'm going to bed. I'm barely coherent as it is

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
