PROJECT TIME 8D

dA stands for deviantART, so it stands to reason that dA is an art community. But what a lot of people don't get is that literature is art too: writers paint just as visual artists do, only with different paints. Writers paint with words.

"Of course writing is art. It isn't just throwing up a bunch of words and taping them together, it's a subtle process that takes time and heart."

So, I've launched a new project that aims to show the rest of dA that poetry, screenwriting, sketchwriting, novel-writing--all of it is art and ought to be appreciated as such.

The theme of the project is writing is not art's plainer sister, and I'm asking participating writers to write a piece based on that theme. The piece does not have to actually include the prompt, just be based on it.

All entries will be accepted, commented on, and added to the project collection.
Any length or genre of submission will be accepted.
As of now, participants will receive a custom icon from =stormchylde and journal features from *Ghost-of-Ink and myself, =austheke.
Participants and other benefactors: the more people link this in their journals and sigs, the more people will submit a piece. xD
Tentative deadline is March 31, but I'm flexible for extensions if people need it.
