This article is both an expression of and a remedy to my personal opinions on clichés in art. I don’t need to list these clichés here; we all know them, we all see the regurgitations of them by others, and I think deep down, we all long for more. The best way to curb this appetite for originality is to support the artists on DA who create outside the box, who dare to be true to their own inspiration, and nothing else.

Fear not, dark artists of DA. There is original art in the dark gallery, and I present it here with pride and happiness.

These features were found doing A) a basic search in Photomanipulation > Dark, with a search range of one month and B) a general scanning of my recent favorites. I will most likely be making this a regular feature, if only for the sake of myself and the artists whom I personally feel deserve more attention for their unique and talented work. I hope you will join me in celebrating them, and I also hope you will find the inspiration to not only challange your own limits, but break them.
