Show Them You Love Them Contest - UPDATES

The "Show Them You Love Them contest" is to benefit and raise awareness for the abused and unwanted animals you find in shelters worldwide. We are trying to help show the DA community the love that we pet owners have for our animals, and the pain and desolation of those lonely few who roam the streets without love and affection. This contest is open to everyone, whether you have an animal or not, and has two divisions: Amateur and Professional. Though it is photography (petography to be more specific) only! The Grand Prize is a 3 year subscription, monetary donations to humane societies within North America, a free print, 3 news articles and nearly 40 journal features!

This contest has received a fantastic amount of acclaim and has been sponsored by multiple clubs within the DA community! Please love this article if you support this contest and help spread the word by advertising in your journal! Even if you only get 3 or 4 page views per day, it can still make a difference in this contest!

Contest!!

#The-Big-Cats-Club:iconThe-Big-Cats-Club: reports, March 17
There will be a contest held on this club, starting from Wednesday 18 march and ends at April 21. The results will be in a week after the contest has ended. At the end of the contest members will vote for what they believe it the best entry. Send all votes to *The-Big-Cats-Club Through Notes



The theme.
The theme will be any hunting related scene of a big cat in its natural habitat. So that could range from a tiger pouncing to a sprinting cheetah. Even pictures of roaring cats will be accepted.
The big cats that will be accepted are: The tiger, lion, jaguar, any leopard (exp. Snow leopard or clouded leopard) Mountain lion (aka puma or cougar) and the cheetah, but some smaller cats may be accepted just ask us if you want your entry to be a smaller cat and we will decide if its appropriate. No domestic cats
All art forms will be taken, but there will be two winners at the end. The one who does the best drawn (painted, digital art ect.) and the best photographed one.
Your entries may be animated if you wish.


Prizes
There will be two 1st place winners. The photography winner and the drawing (painted, digital art ect.) winner.

The two 1st place winners will get:

:bulletred: A 1 month feature in *The-Big-Cats-Club’s journal.

:bulletgreen: Any request to do with any animal from this clubs founders.

The two 3rd place winners will get:

Rules
:bulletoramge: Only members can enter. If you join the club during the contest you may participate as well.
:bulletpink: Send your entries through notes entitled “Contest entries.” Do not entitle it “submission” or we may get confused:XD:
:bulletorange: No cruel images will be judged. We will inform you if we believe yours is.
:bulletpink: No entries will be taken after the competition has ended.
:bulletorange: You may only enter 2 deviations in this contest, both will be judged.
:bulletpink: Hybrid cats are not accepted (example: Ligers or tigons)
