reports, March 19Inspiration is the spark to a great piece of art, so I decided to create a contest that will get your creative juices flowing. Four fantastic artists have agreed to judge alongside me in this contest.

Starts: Thursday, March 19th 2009
Deadline: Sunday, April 19th 2009
Results will be announced in a week!
This contest is a conceptual photography contest. The quote chosen to use was taken from the song Human by the Killers. (Click to hear it: [link])
Now, we want YOU to create a photo based on your interpretation of that quote. But not everyone will have the same interpretation, so it'll make the contest interesting! In the end, it'll be a whole collection of diverse photographs bonded by the same seven words. Cool, huh?
Requirements and Rules
- Only conceptual photography will be accepted.
- This is a PHOTOGRAPHY contest, so no manipulations! Please refrain from photographs that will need a mature content warning. Nudity, horror, and macabre will not be accepted.
- Please write a short description (maybe a sentence or two) about your interpretation of the lyrics. We're looking for originality and creativity!
- The photograph MUST BE new! The point of the competition is to spur your imagination. (That means it must be submitted after March 19, 2009.)
- One entry per person - so choose your piece wisely!
- To submit, send =auroille a note entitled "IBW Contest Entry" with a thumb of your deviation. It will be added to the collection of all the entries.

There will be a first place, a second place, and third place. There will be a varying number of honorable mentions, depending on how many people enter and how many pieces we think deserve to be recognized.
So far the winners will receive features from all of the judges. We need you guys to help donate some prizes. Subs, features, anything! If you wish to donate features or subs head over to =iNeedChemicalX's profile and comment on her poll. She will have an updated list of prizes availible!
You have one month to get your submissions in. So, what are you waiting for? Put on your thinking caps and create!
