I went through this week and deleted all groups that have been inactive for too long as well as expired activities that needed to be cleaned-up. So, the Lit List this week is better than ever. Still, if you find any bad links or other such things that I've missed, please let me know.

I've thought about it, and I'm going to start not only selecting a random feature but also showing how this activity might allow to participate in other areas of the lit community. So, this week, I invite you to participate in the Worldbuilding challenge over at ~writers-in-progress. This is especially helpful for fantasy writers, particularly those participating in *RenderWonderland's This is Madness; this is Fantasy! contest or the Epic Poetry Contest over at =PoetryPlease.

Why do some groups have a subcategory that others don't?

Only pertinent information that the group has made available will be included in the subcategories. This means that if the club is not actively looking for staff, there will not be a "staff" subcategory. You'll find all or none of the following subcategories below each group description:

the Join section informs you of the club's joining procedure.
the Staff section let's you know if the club or project is looking for staff
the contest and Prompt sections are exactly as they sound: lists of ongoing contests and/or prompts hosted by the club or project.
the Other section directs you to any area of special focus for the club or project, such as a chat room or forum

What do I do if I see information that is out of date or information that is missing?

Please inform me either by note or comment and include a link to the source of your information so I can verify that the information is accurate. I also want to know if a new group opens up or an inactive one becomes active again, so please let me know if this happens!

What is considered an "active" group?

An active group is one that has been updated in the past three months or, if it has exceeded this time, one that has expressed in advance that there will be a lull of activity for a specific amount of time.

How will I know what information has changed since the last article was published?

Every article includes a list of those groups that have new items on that particular article. They will also be marked with the icon.
