Merry Christmas to you out there but don't forget: we are only guests here and so...listen to my favourite words... and look at all these wonderful pieces of art
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
You probably would not be reading this article if you didn't have that fire in your belly to get that 'Rolling Stone image.' Whether you're smuggling your camera into a venue or have a photo-pass, it's a challenging, spontaneous and exciting form of art! This article shows examples of the different ways a photographer can capture the atmosphere of a live show; through the artist and the audience.
I'd also like to open up discussion about; how best to present concert photos on deviant art (montage or singular, borders, watermarks, etc), thoughts on post-processing photos in Photoshop, your tips and tricks for getting the best shots and hear about your experiences at different venues.
When I put this article together I had a hard time trying to find fantastic shots of pop/diva female singers. So I hope I found a good balance here.
To start the discussion, my thoughts on concert photography is that I'm all for post processing in Photoshop, minor and heavy, I don't think it takes away from the integrity of the photograph or photographer. I don't really like borders, especially those inset hairline ones they tend to cheapen the image.
you might say you like post processing in music photography and that's all well and good in theory, but if your name is jazzylemonade, then they will move them out of that category. They've moved over 500 of my photos.

I wish i was a Warhol silkscreen Hanging on the wall Or Little Joe, or maybe Lou I'd love to be them all. Then all New York City's broken hearts And secrets would be mine I'd put you on a movie reel And that would be just fine.
As for borders, if i'm going for the 60s 70s i shot it in a dark underground venue look, then a white border so it looks like a snapshot is class. andy warhol, the factory and all that

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
