This contest is for comic artists who want some practice with their technique. It will run for exactly one year. I have posted up a script for a graphic novel here. Those participating will draw the comic out following the rules below. The winner will have their comic desktop published by myself and receive 55% of the proceeds. In the (fantastically bad) script, I have provided general statements about setting and the appearance of major characters. The script itself provides the storyline only. The artist will decide how the pages are layed out, the exact appearance and body language of the characters, the lay out of the settings, and dialog. What I have written isn't good by any measure, but its a general guide. You are encouraged to change the script to your hart's delight, so long as the story line remains intact. I was picturing a sort of Bride of Water God feel, meaning that time keeps jumping forward randomly. You may add scenes as you please, but I discourage deleting them, as all the key scenes are there.. The story, settings, and general personality and appearance of the characters must remain intact. You may produce as much of the story as you wish, however, only complete comics will be eligible to win. The rest is up to you. If you're not sure, assume it's in your hands.
