When searching for people to feature for DailyDeviants, there are times where I find a writer who is relatively unknown or new to the site and all I can think to myself is "YES! SCORE!" ~etre-aime was one of those. Her prose poetry reads as though one is simply staring into her soul, taking in the moments she describes as a heartbeat, natural, honest, and lively from start to end.

Erotic fiction is a tough road to traverse. Sometimes, authors sacrifice quality writing thinking that the sex will sell itself, but forget that the quality is what makes erotic fiction worthwhile. ~sanguinesins is one of only a few authors I've seen that combines compelling fiction with bold sexuality into stories that don't make you want to "skip to the good part." For a monthly feature, I thought it only right to pick someone who I visited several times throughout the month, even after showcasing her work. ~aillesdors's gallery keeps me coming back, and each time I find some new poetic gem. I can't say much more about the exact reasons I like her work, as it varies greatly with each piece, but I urge you to take the time to deeply explore her works and find your own enjoyment in their complexities.

There are a lot of ways to make masks, I'm sure. Even knowing that, though, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the masks in *merimask's gallery were not molded acrylic or any other material, but were in fact finely worked and painted leather. The shapes are fantastic and the color even more so!

The news is spreading: ~mfirsanov is absolutely amazing. This Russian deviant's entire gallery is filled with fantastic woodwork that will leave browsers and art appreciators in awe. I had quite a difficult time limiting myself to three featured deviations on the 12th, and I found myself faced with the same dilemma for this News Article as well. Fantastic work!
