Well it's that time again folks the votes have been counted and points calculated and added to the judges marks.

Here are the results of round two:

That leaves and in the bottom two for the judges choice - who will they decide to keep in the competition and who will be going home? Each judge can only choose one - in the even of a tie head judge will cast the deciding vote.

So without further ado lets go to the judges:

I have to say

It's a tough choice. IRL, my greatest pet peeve is unpunctuality. So I'm tempted to make that a reason why *BaGgY666 should not make it into the next round. However, she has already been punished once for this, so I guess there is no need to punish her a second time. All in all her entries are pretty and her coloring style is cute. The reason why I choose her over ~dazzledust is merely that her entries varied more than ~dazzledust's. ~dazzledust is a great artist and has a very cute style that I hope she will develop some more. However, I think that *BaGgY666 has shown us a bit more variation in this contest so far, so I am going to choose and give her a chance to make up for being late this time. Next time, though, I might not be as forgiving.

I'm going to say , I know you may think we were harsh on you but it's because we know you can do much better than what you produced this round. I think you've still got a long way to go in improving your art style but I'm sure you'll be able to pull through in the end. (on a side note, if you do end up going through to the next round, I would highly suggest you contact one of us judges (via note or email, etc) to talk about how to improve your style and create diversity within it. )

So that leaves it once again hanging in *sailorangels hands - will she choose to save ~dazzledust or *BaGgY666 - lets find out now:

Wow.. I didn't anticipate this being so difficult when I first signed up.. and it's only going to get harder each round. ~dazzledust you have a unique style and in the beginning I knew I definately wanted you in this contest to give a different take on the themes compared to the other contestants - but so far it's been the same take on each theme which is a pity because looking at your gallery you do have a range of different styles - you're good with pencil work, markers and ink, you range from realistic to anime to more cartoony, you have the ability but you stayed in your safe zone and it's left us wanting more...

*BaGgY666 Like *silver-eyes-blue I was tempted to oust you for your late entry but I know what it's like to have a scanner die on you just at the wrong time - and you did have your entry completed - you just couldn't get it scanned. I have enjoyed every piece you have submitted so far and if it weren't for the late docks marked you wouldn't be in the bottom two - so for those reasons I am choosing you to go on in the competition - I look forward to some great submissions - no pressure

Well there you have it folks - sadly we must say goodbye to another contestant - such is the nature of a contest - there has to be winners and losers - we would like to thank for all of her entries and her inspiration and participation. We hope you have gained some helpful advice or at least a different perspective on your art.

Round 3 starts now folks and the theme is mythology - keep you eyes peeled for updates and don't forget to spread the word - we want SCD to be sucessfull enough to carry on for next year!
