DeviantART Photography Mentoring Project! A photography project where Deviants can learn from each other, one on one!

Project Comment: 0-5 Comments // Issue 49

=pullingcandy:iconpullingcandy: reports, 2d 10h ago
#ProjectComment is a project that features the generally obscured and underappreciated artists and their art in regular news articles. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.

The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to :+favlove: this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here.

Project Effortless

=Anjellyjoy:iconAnjellyjoy: reports, 13h 10m ago
This is a sub-project of the group #alwaysmotivated. I am the admin, posting on behalf of the group. :)

Have you ever put a lot of effort into a piece of artwork and writing but it turned out to be not as good as the work of another artwork or writing which the artist/writer has spent minimal effort in? If you have, then we know what it's like. Here on deviantART, there are plenty of deviants who put in their best effort each and every time but their work still ends up noticed and less loved than another who has not put as much thought into their work because they can produce high quality artworks with ease. We want to recognise these artworks and writing because we believe that works should primarily be judged on effort and the artist's own standard rather than whether the work is of a 'good quality' in general.

Project Effortless has an aim to explore the art of new, young and beginner artists and writers in an attempt to help them get more exposure and advice in order to help them improve. It is an ongoing project that will open up once in a while to allow deviants to submit or suggest artworks in which they believe the artist has put maximum effort in but have in return received minimal exposure.

Paying it Forward in April

`timmy64:icontimmy64: reports, March 31
All right, we all like a good critique, don't we?

There's something special about opening up your message centre and seeing a nice, well thought out comment that tries to help us improve.

Well, how about we return the favour? Why not go out and make constructive comments?

In April, I'm challenging you all to go hit the Random Deviant button and leave a constructive comment on some of their work. Watch them even. Just go out, do something kind for a stranger. Leave them a well rounded, well thought out constructive critique.

But don't just leave it there. Encourage them to do the same! :eager: You don't have to link them to the news article, just drop them a note and explain what's going on, and try to get them to pay it forward. Encourage them to go and do this kind deed for a stranger. Try to get them interested in it too.

After all, so many people complain about useless comments, it's time we started leading by example. Go out there, make good comments and make dA a more helpful place to be! :eager:

Actually just visiting random deviants would be a step in the right direction. There's lots of devaints out there who get next to no visitors. :hmm:

the rules in the movie pay it forward was do something for 3 persons that they cannot do by themselves and if they want to repay the deed, they'll just help 3 other people...

hmm, i'm slightly convinced, but because i'm bored, i shall try to do so.
