At the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards, Warner Brothers Interactive and Rocksteady premiered a teaser trailer for what fans are currently calling "Batman: Arkham Asylum II".
The trailer featured the tagline "Arkham Has Moved", and revealed a new facility of the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane in the middle of Gotham City. Criminals are seen rioting in the streets as the camera sweeps through the scenery, revealing hints of possible villains debuting in this sequel; an Uncle Sam poster with the face torn off and a gun in his other hand, the entrance to the Iceberg lounge, a giant sign with the name "SIONIS" on it. The camera then pans a chair facing a window overlooking the anarchy, revealing the game's main enemy...
