To start off, this is a contest slash project, just so you know.
The aim of it is to find a partner in writing a (short) novel (long term commitment people!).
You'd think why would need a partner to write a novel? Well the concept of it is a little different then your usual novel. It is told by two people, two very different people, who turn out a little alike. That’s how chapters are separated too, by changing point of view of the story.
So this is a little synopsis, that’s just a rough idea:

She meets him. At the start they don't get on. Okay, scrap that, they LOATHE each other. To destroy one another, they start digging into each other's lives, but they find things they don't expect, things they never knew existed. Through the dark secrets two enemies get to know each other, like no one else ever did before. But some secrets are best kept hidden, or are they?

I know its very vague but I don't want to post exactly what happens all over dA.
If you are still reading this, I take that you're interested to try and get involved.

The two people - a guy and a girl - have to be fairly different. Its written in first person so when you read it, you have to feel the difference between them. So I'd love if the person who ends up writing this with me would be a guy, since he'd know better how guys think and all that. Nonetheless, I won't discriminate against girls; after all, I'm looking for a WRITER, not anything else.

I want you to write the next chapter (1st is posted at the end of this article.) in Mathew's (the guy's) point of view. Deadline is... 5th of May. I'd rather you didn't procrastinate but I'll take entries in up to the 10th of May if you give me a notice before the deadline closes. The only two strict rules are that they can't stand each other and it has to be written in first person.
Whoever I think is best suited for the part of writing this novel, will win.

Prizes include:

Co-writing the novel;
A journal feature by three people (will specify the people later) ;
Eternal fame and glory ;
