For all those on dA who care about the social issues we have to face, this is about the biggest illegal issue in the world: Human Trafficking.
On Wiki, human trafficking is described as, "the commerce and trade in the movement or migration of people, legal and illegal, including both legitimate labor activities as well as forced labor. The term is used in a more narrow sense by advocacy groups to mean the recruitment, transportation, harbouring, or receipt of people for the purposes of slavery, forced labor (including bonded labor or debt bondage), and servitude. It is the fastest growing criminal industry in the world[1], with the total annual revenue for trafficking in persons estimated to be between $5 billion and $9 billion ... Exploitation includes forcing people into prostitution or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery and servitude. For children, exploitation may also include forced prostitution, illicit international adoption, trafficking for early marriage, or recruitment as child soldiers, beggars, for sports (such as child camel jockeys or football players), or within certain religious groups."
There is a man, an actavist, that stands up for this cause and is trying his best to spread the word. His name is Michael Cory Davis, who is also an actor, filmmaker (Svetlana's Journey) and humanitarian.

Orange is the color of Freedom. I'd recommend you to have something of the color orange on you everyday. It doesn't have to be clothes, it could be a ribbon or a ripped piece of cloth you found in your house, that you can wrap around your wrist. Something small or the center of your whole outfit - it doesn't matter. That way if people ask you why you are wearing it (if it clashes with what you decided to wear) then you can tell them the reason was because you are against slavery or sex trafficking.
The point is that we cannot just stand aside and let this world issue take over. It's been going on for far too long. We need it to STOP. One way that every individual could help is by informing others. If you are speaking to friends/parents/whoever, and you begin talking about the world and it's many problems, why not bring this up? Awareness is the key for change - or at least the starting point.
