Inspirational Deviations

What had ‘inspired’ me to start a News Article was a journal I had written about a week ago:

“What Inspires You?”

Many replies were “Games, Movies, Music, Dreams, The Outdoors” But the one that came out on top was “Deviations.”

On the Forums, I had asked deviants to share their Thumbs with me and my sister, ~BiggSis, to see what type of deviations, theirs or others, inspired them and could give inspiration to others. In this article my sister and I looked over each individuals deviations, and chose anywhere from 1 to 3 deviations each person and thought up what ideas they gave us as well as for others in our opinions, in hopes of giving you and many deviants some Inspiration!

Here’s a couple of our deviations we think could inspire or have inspired me and ~BiggSis to make our deviations and hope they bring some to you!

The Deviations

~BiggSis A beautiful maternal & cultural piece. Seems like depicts a mothers concern for her child & to shelter it.
=spacyg1 A hint of sadness & keeping secrets, as well as protection from the outside world.

~BiggSis The serenity of nature is something many inspire from.
=spacyg1 Reminds me of the highlands. Perhaps a couple running away by boat?

~BiggSis Reminds me how sweet romance is.
=spacyg1 While playful, it gives a nice sense of a masquerade story, but a twist of romance.



~BiggSis The only statement I may not mind writing over & over again.

~BiggSis It’s interesting how they made it blue, like sadness, even though love is involved.
=spacyg1 Reminds me of a romance novel but with a somber mood, like sitting in the rain.

~BiggSis Looks like its on an abandoned island. Normally you’d want to be saved, but this says different.
=spacyg1 It gives a message of privacy… maybe of teens during the summer?



~BiggSis The absurdness of an idea is always good inspiration for art.
=spacyg1 So odd, but such a creative idea!

~BiggSis Reminds me of those children magic markers… Makes want to become a child again and draw with magic markers again…
=spacyg1 The style reminds me of a children’s book and a fun adventure!

~BiggSis A sad piece of how dreams could go out of reach.
=spacyg1 Depressed of letting one go…



~BiggSis Seems like how the industry may overtake nature in the near future.
=spacyg1 Gives me a sense of anticipation of going into the distance and far with something you’ve created.

=spacyg1 Reminds me of Cirque du Soleil!

~BiggSis Brings me back to the days when the Goblin King reigned.
=spacyg1 Very fantasy inspired. I have to agree on the Labyrinth part!



~BiggSis “Don’t f$%^ with me” is what I get.
=spacyg1 Reminds me of one of those movies like Fast and Furious or anything with guns, something with real action!

=spacyg1 Like he’s waiting in a teen-fantasy fic for someone.
~BiggSis I disagree: It’s gotta be the coffee. (jk)

~BiggSis I look forward to glowing like this woman on my wedding day!

~BiggSis Simple on the outside, yet… makes me want to look on the inside.
=spacyg1 And see what’s there in the open space. Especially the coloring & and the sky, they set a mood.



~BiggSis Reminds me of people who are not shy & they want others to view what’s on the inside of their surrounding structure.
=spacyg1 I get a sense of the future or even a scifi type of thing.



~BiggSis It makes compression look fun.
=spacyg1 I think it’s trying to send a message, maybe something political?

~BiggSis Branches acting like a spiderweb…Interesting.
=spacyg1 Keeping someone or something down, but from what?

~BiggSis Delicate flower shielded by the harsh outside world.
=spacyg1 Yeah! Maybe it represents someone or a feeling.



~BiggSis A mirror of nature.
=spacyg1 So breathtaking! Definitely adventurous!

~BiggSis Takes me to the opposite side of the world.
=spacyg1 Very reminding of Guild Wars!

~BiggSis Reminds me of a not so busy weekend; A quiet day in the city
=spacyg1 But with an upbeat modernization.



~BiggSis You would think bugs would take life away, but this one seems like it’s giving.
=spacyg1 Totally.

~BiggSis Peacock strolling through human residence.
=spacyg1 Seems lonely a bit, doesn’t it?

=spacyg1 Inviting into something mysterious, something like a fantasy.
~BiggSis The path to a mystery.



~BiggSis Reminds me of ice cream; Different layers of a Sunday.
=spacyg1 Hello Kitty adventures! So cute!

=spacyg1 Another adventure & friendship, like in those cute toon shows!
~BiggSis The unbreakable bond of friendship.



=spacyg1 So nice! Reminds me of a fantasy setting; Something secretly might be happening.

=spacyg1 Wow! Anything can go, really. A ghost appearing in the woods? Looking for someone?

=spacyg1 Who knows what could be awaiting! The tree seems to give this piece a fearful await.



=spacyg1 In pencil? Wow… I think the grey tone gives it a feeling of waiting for something to pass by.



~BiggSis Ooh! How dangerous! A concern for mutations at the hands of humans?
=spacyg1 Like a monster from a RPG! Awesome!

~BiggSis That liquid truly does look solid! It’s not easy to get certain effects; This makes you want to play around with digital effects!



~BiggSis This makes people not afraid of changes. Good inspiration to move on & feel content with change.

=spacyg1 Looks like a horror / mystery type deviation. Nice effects!



~BiggSis The patterns, a kaleidoscope like pattern are interesting.

~BiggSis I always did like festivals. A lot of cheer.

~BiggSis A nice exploration of physical textures.
