Relay For Life

Alright deviants listen up.

I am participating in an event coming up called Relay for Life. If you have never heard of it, go here: [link]

Basically we raise money individually. Then on the night of the event, we raise money as a team and I will run for money as well. The best part is that 100% OF THE PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TOWARDS CANCER RESEARCH AND CANCER PATIENTS! Isn't that great? I think it's amazing.

Just to make it clear, I get no portion of this money, or anything. I'm doing this because it is an amazing cause and I am very passionate about it. I absolutely love this and I have been doing it for 7 years, ever since 2nd grade.

I am posting this on deviantart because I have seen how generous and passionate about cancer you guys are. And for all of the people on deviantart fighting this horrible disease. People like ^JunkbyJen are my hero, because I wish I would have the courage that she does if I were in her situation.

oh wow, my school Tartan Senior High, participates in relay every year, everyone chips in. Our school is one of the biggest contributors to relay for life I think.(or at least that's our claim lol)

Awesome! I wish I had some money to donate...My mother is a colon cancer survivor and my family actually got a Relay For Life event to start up in our town many years ago. Its now a annual event there. Good luck to you and your effort.
