Hello, Hello! ^Katmomma and ^savagebinn here with your Monthly report on the Anthro Community! Because you communicated to us that you would prefer Monthly news to be launched in Newsletter Format, that’s exactly what we are going to do! Anthro Community Share will now be merged with our monthly Community Relations news! And this way, everything Anthro can be found in one spot! We have a lot to talk about this month!

What is Community Relations?

I have received many questions regarding what ^savagebinn and I do, and I think it is important for all of us to be reminded what CR really is, and what our goals as a team are.

<sub>deviantART's Community Relations Team provides a unique collective effort that seeks to create and sustain collaborative relationships among deviants and to develop innovative opportunities within the global art industry. These relationships are meant to provide and encourage opportunities to foster creative genius. The CR Team acts as a window of information for the community on how to utilize deviantART in a way that will empower and enable themselves as respected and successful artists.

Our ultimate vision is a community of artists that come together unified and strengthened by sharing the belief that they hold the artistic power to create and shape their own success. In order to realize our vision, our mission must be to exceed the expectations of our community, whom we view as partners, and we will accomplish this by committing to our shared core values. Our core values are listed in FAQ #84: What are the Core Values of the Community Relations and Operations Departments? Current Contests

The Anthro Collaboration contest is well under way! Nursery Rhymes and Fables is our theme! You can see all the rules / guidelines for this contest at the Stage 2 Article --> [link]

Partnering After sign ups
Several of you have come to me and asked if you could participate after sign ups have closed. And in order to participate, you must be legally signed up in this Journal. This was to keep things fair, and keep partnerships at an even number of 2. HOWEVER, if you would like to participate, and you did not sign up, I will add you to the journal IF AND ONLY IF you have found a partner. Do not ask me to find one for you. You need to come to me with a partner already found. If you wanted to have a partner picked for you, then you should have signed up before the deadline
Shoot me a note if you have a partner and you would like to participate. Also, if there is anyone on that list that I missed putting a star next to, please let me know

Pimp The Positive Stamp Contest

RP still Under Construction
If you haven't heard already, we have a new room up for our RP! It is still under construction, and we are still working on a bot, but you can come check it out, get familiar, and hang out in our awesome new 24/7 RP room, #OfficialAnthroRP.

Curently you may RP at any time you'd like; It's free RP for now. But once we get the bot and leveling system set up, things will be more structured and organized.

Remember to DevWatch =AnthroRP for future Updates! It's imperative that you watch this account if you plan on participating!

Please read this before sending suggestions, and be aware of our guidelines. The more aware you are, the more likely your suggestion will be featured as a Daily Deviation.

The biggest issue we still have is people sending us suggestions that are NOT Anthro. Please take the time to educate yourself about the boundaries and gray areas by reviewing the “What Is Anthro?” article listed in our DD Guidelines and here once again.

Most Interesting Anthro(s) of the Month
Featuring pieces we've found that are especially unique and interesting from the Anthro gallery.

- How cool is this? Gorgeous lighting effects, and an interesting background with a truly unusual character, both in species and design. This is one of those hidden gems we look for; well done!

- This is just a wonderful character design. =Tsuchan never ceases to amaze us with her elegant style which has a very classy nature to it. Her works are a real treat for the eyes.
