We all know that horses are really present on devArt and that there are many very talented "horse artists" here. So many that featuring horse art randomly would be stupid.
Where Art Meets Horses will regularly features great horse art by breed, giving you wonderful pieces to fave and some infos about the featured breed.

The Breed : Arabian Horse
Also known as : Arabian, Arab
Origins : Middle East (most notably Arabian Peninsula)
Descended from : It's one of the oldest breed of the world.
Characteristics :They're easily recognizable with their head shape and high tail carriage. They measure from 14.1 to 15.1hh (145 to 155cm). They mostly are bay, grey or chestnut but some are sabino, black or roan. Purebreds cannot be cremello, dun, palomino, buckskin, perlino or appaloosa.
Uses : They're good horses for pretty much everything. But they're excellent in endurance and western riding.
