Howdy Folks!

I am very excited to tell you that I am starting a new deviantART webzine.

Announcing..... drum roll please....




(Sorry, only big letters I could find...)

I hope to have the blessing of the dA powers-that-be, but as yet, they haven't answered my notes....

I will be launching the first issue 1 May and there will be another News article for it. The webzine itself will be in PDF format for you to download and read at your leisure. It will be in A4 format for easy home-printing, should you want to.

I hope that dA is so impressed by this venture, that one day this will be turned into a full-scale glossy mag publication for deviantART, perhaps a subscriber-only mag at first. Artists will be asked permission to publish their works of course. Can you imagine taking DEVIANCE to show your family and friends the brilliant art community you are part of, and perhaps even show them the feature about your work?? Oh I can dream...

The first issue will contain exclusive artist interviews of Jens Callius and John Kimbler aka , and some fabulous writing by Diana Ostrat aka

These interviews are designed to help you get to know the artist behind the work in a more in-depth fashion.
I hope they also help to inspire and awe all readers.

There are also mini features of other artists, that are not to be missed.

Each month will feature two artists who are from two different styles. I hope to interview the unknowns as well as the well-knowns, so do drop me a note with any artists you would recommend. I will be including literature too.

All literature submitters can send me a direct note too, as I have a section called THE LIT CORNER which will have featured poetry and prose... gotta Note me to be in it!

The first issue is shaping up to be a 32-34 page bumper edition, that's not to be missed!

I need all the help I can get to plug this awesome project, so if you'd like to put the cover in your journal, I would be ever so chuffed!

I am also looking for any reliable volunteers who would love to take a section of the zine and make it theirs - sending me a completed section to me by the 20th of each month. I will be doing the main interviews, art scopes (and a few other things) and Chief Editing of the zine. This is something that would be great for your resume, as you will need to do research, do graphic design & Photoshop work, and will demonstrate organizational skills. If you don't have great English spelling and grammar skills, please don't apply. I want perfectionists involved in this, so if that's you, Note me quick before someone else does!
