Calling for submissions to Death Meets Spring!

The theme may sound somewhat confusing. It's not really, once you get down to thinking about it, for it's exceptionally open ended.
You could be literal, as I have been on my contest example picture -> (Death Meets Spring).
You can be gory and choose to portray a death in a very obvious Springtime setting.
You could take a picture of a flower in bloom beside dead ones, you could take a picture of your goldfish dead in some melting snow.
Plants, humans, animals, still life - it's all acceptable as long as it stays within the general guidelines, which would be DEATH and SPRING.
Not Death and Winter, certainly not Death and Fall.
The list is endless, all it takes is a little imagination. This is where you come in!
( If you live in a part of the world where it is NOT SPRING, I will accept whatever you come up with as long as the outcome revolves around the basic concept of Spring (Birth, New Life) and Death (Obvious). Improvise!)

The rules are fairly simple:

Photography, digital art, photo manipulation and traditional art only, please. As much as I enjoy reading, I'm not going to accept any prose or poetry, because though I routinely visualize great writing, it's not what I'm going for.

The limit of entries is 2 per person. I've never done a contest before, so if people do enter this, I don't want to be too swamped! If you have an entry, leave a comment here -> [link] , or note me.

There is no mature restriction on this contest, but please keep entries creative and artistic.
