`La-Fi & =laurengary are having an Optimism Contest & you are all invited to join !!!





Webster's defines optimism as "a doctrine that this world is the best possible world" or "an inclination to put the most favorable construction upon actions and events or to anticipate the best possible outcome."

Even easier.... think of optimism as a glass half full sort of thing !!!


And so, in that spirit, of hopefulness, of rebirth .... of optimism ....in whatever form it may take, we give you the Optimism Contest !!


Show us your glass half full.... show us something that makes you hopeful....optimistic. A lost love found again ? Maybe ! Whatever makes you feel optimistic about something, please share ! But be creative with it, don't just post a picture of your baby sister or a pretty sunset...& then call it optimistic. We're looking for something a little different, something with a little more thought behind it.

Optimism can be an ideal, a feeling... a goal. You decide ! It can be as simple as an uplifting color, or design or as elaborate or intense as you can imagine. Once again... you decide !

So, spread the love, spread the joy, put your creative thinking caps on & give it your best shot !






RULES


Your entry must fit the contest theme. No gore, no macabre, no angst, no racism, no hate related works, etc.


Digital art, (mixed media, fractals, photomanips, drawings, paintings, 3d, vectors, etc.), traditional art, photography allowed, except for what was outlined above. If there's a problem, or any questions, just ask us.


Two entries per deviant allowed. One may be an old deviation, the other one must be a new, never before posted deviation.

All entries must be submitted via NOTE to both `La-Fi and =laurengary Please place "Contest Entry" in the Subject Line and include a link/thumb to your deviation.


You must follow all stock rules & dA copyright etc. rules please ! An excuse of "I didn't know" won't be enough to save your image from the discard switch if we get a complaint !
