Stock to Art

1:
First off - what inspired you to start a stock account? To see photomanipulations and what people can do with stocks in general

2:
How did you choose your username?A friend of mine had a mimosa (in german mimose

) these days I started my stock-account, and it is really a fascinating flower

3:
What is it about the stock community that keeps you active? All the other great stockers that submit great new stocks

this encourages me to submit more myself

4:
How would you like your stock to be used more?I found stock through manips but I really would like to see my stock used more as a reference

but I think modelstock is more used as a reference than backgroundstock

5:
Do you have any tips for people starting a stock account?Hmmmm, there are not many things that weren't said here before, so I only say: make things that you enjoy

6:
Why chose to stock at DA and not morguefile/sxc/photlia/etc...because dA is an all-art-site, the others were stock-only-sites as far as I know, and I really love to fav the art of others

7:
How far would you go to take a stock picture?Interesting question

I would say that nothing can stop me, if I really want to take a photo

8:
Are there any things that you wish people would stop doing with your stock?Hmmmm, nothing

I'm glad about every stockuse

Perhaps I'm not popular enough to see the bad sides of being a stocker

9:
Show me three of your favourite stock uses!
the first ever use of one of my stocks

the first use of one of my modelstocks (there were only two

) but I must say, it looks really great

I never thought someone would really cut out all these curls and swirls

10:
Is there anyone at dA whose stock you particularly admire, or have any other stock artists influenced your own work?I don't know of anyone influencing me, but I admire all great modelstockers. I'm more a backgroundstocker and I really suck at my few modelstocks

11:
You have some fab abandoned place stock photos such as
how did you find this location? With lots of luck

We had a big family-party in berlin and in the course of the afternoon I went outside for a walk with my little brother. And in the neighbourhood was a abandoned house and this place .....And so we climbed over the fence and took photos there

(I have some stockphotos of it too

but mostly of the frontage - inside it was very dirty and there were lots of rubbish

)
12:
What would be your ideal stock photo?A stockphoto that can be used for all kinds of manips and for reference

This means for dark and emotional and conceptual and fantasy and for landscapes and abstract and humorous and surreal and sci-fi and and and

13:
Who'd look better in tights? ^Platinus or ^orangefruits?^
Platinus because he is fluffy and evil

Thank you =
