This is the thirteenth Sanguem Deus Contest! Thank you to all of you who have participated in the past contests. This has been quite an enjoyable contest series to hold.

If you would like to donate a prize, send me a note or leave a comment. It could be a stamp, art, feature, subscriptions, prints, anything you're willing to donate.

Also, I'd like some people to volunteer to help promote the contest as well. Post about it in your journals and let others know, that way we can have a really good turn out.

There need to be at least FIVE ENTRIES for this to count as a contest. If we do not have five entries by the time of the due date there will be an extension. Once we reach ten completed entries, every fifth entry after that I will personally add another prize to the prize list.

CONTEST DETAILS

We had an awesome turn out for the Twelfth Sanguem Deus Contest. Let's see if we can beat that one out with this one.

Theme: Earth Tones

For this contest your entry must be done in earth tones. Specifically, I'm referring to shades of brown like sepia. Think old classic western photos that have faded and gone brownish with time. What you do with the picture after that is up to you as long as you follow two more rules listed below. All forms of art are acceptable.

Because this is the Sanguem Deus contest, it requires that you have an equal number or more of the characters from Sanguem Deus in your entry to the number of your personal characters. For example if you draw two of your characters for the entry there must be at least two Sanguem Deus characters in the same picture. You do not have to have your characters in the entry, but you do have the option.

I do give creative liberty with the characters. The only thing I ask is that you do not change any of their physical attributes. If you are unsure about something you'd like to do with your entry, just send me a note and we can talk about it.

We had nine entries for the last contest. Let's see if we can get more this time. Be sure to submit your entries to me by note and have "SD Contest Entry" or something similar in the subject. Please get your entries in as soon as possible to prevent struggling to get them turned in at the last minute.
