reports, May 2April has been a month of change at =indiephotographyclub! We recently changed our submissions policy so that we add the 4 daily submissions to a collection and submit them in a screen sapture in one deviation. So far it has been a great success, with all the favs/comments going to the original pieces and making it easier for us. This has also helped us have time to reply to notes on whether they were accepted or not and to give feedback about what we are looking for.

In a recent poll we found out that when asked to choose between film and digital, 64% of our members prefer both!
=k-ari once said "Photoshopping a photograph should only be to enhance it, not to manipulate it."
To photoshop or not to photoshop? That was the question. And 67% of our members said they don't mind photoshopping as long as it looks good.
The darkroom, where photography was developed (pardon the pun), and 44% of our members say they have used one, but 39% want to use one some-day.
On the topic of using a darkroom
~VeraAda said "I love it. Everything about it - the darkness, the smells, all the tubs & liquids, fiddling with the enlarger, the red bulbs 
"
~IndiscriminateBullet thinks that working in the darkroom "... makes each picture a real commitment, a real process... I like that about it"
