April 2009 - Daily Deviations

"Imperial Gravity Defiers" by *sketchboook

On the one hand it looks funny, on the other one it looks scary. Nevertheless it is a very well painted scene. Make sure to check out the rest of his gallery as well. It is full of inspirational speedpainting.

With purely alien elements this piece is filled with an exotic and mesmerising array of scenery - and its abstract and surreal sense beckons the viewers interest. It is, as equally so as it is interesting, just as beautiful in form and rendition.

The future sure looks terrifiying, when humankind has to harvest extraterrestrial species for its own needs.
