Type of Contest: I'm holding a contest for photographers and traditional artists!

What's it all about? Everyone has a place in their town that they love to go! I want you to photograph or create this place! The country, the city, maybe your home, or even your job, anyplace. Do your spot justice. Embrace what you love. Let us see what you see and feel what you feel.

DEALINE
Start Date - Friday, April 24, 2009
End Date - Sunday, May 24, 2009

RULES
Must be photography or traditional art (drawing, painting, pastels, etc.)

Your entry needs to be fairly new. I will accept old entries for this from March 2009. I'd really like it to be as new as possible though. Be creative.

Must follow the favorite place theme that was presented at the beginning of this journal.

One entry per artist.

Send your entry in a NOTE to me =LilithPhotography with the subject "Entry". In the note include a link or thumb to your entry.

In your artists comments, talk about your place and why you love it. Be sure to put a link to this article or to my journal saying that your deviation is for this contest.

Judges may enter, but they cannot vote for themselves.

JUDGES


Each judge will pick their top three favorites artworks. They will be tallied up and in case of a tie, I will choose between the two. There are only 3 winners (regardless of the medium) which is why I will have a balanced panel of judges (half traditional artists and half photographers)
