A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
Actually I agree with him 100%. I have discovered long ago that it is not your equipment but rather your knowledge that makes a person a better photographer. I agree with him that things can be fixed in Photoshop but you will be a better photographer if you learn not to use it and adjust your cameras settings to get the shot right the first time.
Hows the studying going?

yes, he gets the point across perfectly, that is why i am happy with my 450d rather than a 5D, it gives me so much practical help, and i think the best way to improve is to learn your way around a camera, and putting it into practise, utilising what you have is part of the enjoyment of photography, most of us can't afford really advanced hardware and learning how to use what i have is so much fun.
I love how he says that "Shoot for yourself, no one else." Those few words are so so important in photography and throughout all hobby arts.
I'm really glad you enjoyed the article., and the studying is annoying, i just want it out the way now.
Well the studying will be over soon and then it will be worth all of the work. I agree that it is more fun to improvise when you are out in the field or in the "studio". It is especially fun if you can get your friends involved in it as well.

I am one of those suckers who relies heavily on photoshop. I acually found myself mildly disappointed the other day when I couldn't actually do anything in photoshop to make the image better. I would say I am most certainly a digital/photo artist.
As for the zoo thing, I have had the same experience but it was my own father with a GIGANTIC nikon somethingorother elbowing me and my little Canon out of the way
Great news feature! Was a good read, and can really bring a person back down to earth.
That's the last time I actually argue Nikon over Canon! ha ha, it's usually a joke anyway, I wouldn't like to say one is better than the other. I'd love to shoot with both really if I had the cash.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
