Hello and welcome to our interview room! Can you tell us who you are in a nutshell ? Where do you come from, what's your work, and what's your shoe size ?

Hello, folks! My name is Francesco, I'm 21 years old, I lived in Italy! Now, unfortunately, I haven't a work, I'm studying Fine Arts in Academy, near my city.
Oh, my shoe size is 46 (a little big, maybe )

My favourite mediums are watercolours, Pantone and collage. I try to experiment with other mediums, like acrylic colours, but the results didn't satisfy me. At the moment I really love collage with various type of paper, I love the final results.

I haven't got a real creation process. First of all I imagine the scene in my mind and I try to represent on the paper with some, imprecise lines. Sometimes the inspiration came from a dream, or when I am in the bed in order to try to sleep

The thing that more it makes me crazy is to drawing the bodies and background (in fact I love "white" background)

When I see the famous "blank page", I try drawing random things, like faces or objects. Many times some drawings come out from torn piece of paper or sheets that are already drawn.

My inspiration comes from various thing. I really love reading fairytales or listen music. Sometimes I like to leaf trough books in library to take some inspiration

I remember a lot of books, but my favourite are the Tale of Beatrix Potter, I was truly fixed with Peter Rabbit

Yes, I reading books, I think is very important in order to draw beautiful illustrations.

I've chosen to illustrate for the children because I always loved the illustrations that accompanied me when I was a child and I always dreamed to make the same thing when I was and adult. My advice is really simple: observe everything that encircles to you, also the small things of life and drawing a lot!!

Yes, I'm working on some illustration for a book, the story of "Alice Cascherina", a little child similar to Alice in Wonderland that falls in even stranger places.

At the moment my favourite color is mint green ( I love pastels colors), my favourite movie is Spirited Away, I like to eat pizza and ice cream and I love to listen the rain. Also the smell appeals to me.
