Welcome to this weeks volume of so we heard you liek emotes. This is the 31th volume in a weekly series aimed towards promoting emote and emoticonists from the dA community. It features emotes posted within the past week from both well known and new emoticonists, as well as featuring some other great emote projects and contests.
Featured Emoticons:
1.

I absolutely adore Emote + Smiley by =
Sinister-Starfeesh. It really shows how both emotes and smileys can be used within one emoticon. The shading is of great standard an the animation is simple yet effective. The shadow is a nice touch, giving it this weeks first featured spot.
2.

Rose by =
mintyy is another brilliant emoticon submitted this week. The pixelling of the rose is outstanding and the emoticon in the centre is very cute. The choice of colours work very well together to create an all round adorable emote.
3.

Vehicles are never an easy thing to pixel for emotes, but =
Waluigi-Prower has done a good job in :motorcycleflomp:. The shading of the emoticons is very smooth and the animation is top notch. The way the Zs burst is also a great addition, making it another must see emote from this week
4.
I couldnt resist featuring I drawd a purdy picture by ~
Shannara-Queen. The shading and animation are faultless and the expression really enhances the emoticon as a whole. The idea is very cute and well displayed and definitely an emote you shouldny miss.
5.

This weeks 5th featured emote is Ill give you my heart by ~
5P-emotes. The animation may be minimal, but it is very effective and the blink is a really nice touch. The expressions and hand placement all add to the emoticon, making it another great emote to sit and watch.
Other great emoticons posted recently

Packs
Its always a shame that emoticon packs submitted to dA dont always get the attention they deserve. Within a pack there are often a few gems that go unnoticed as they arent immediately seen without downloading and using the pack. I decided to feature some great packs I have found on dA.

Featured Projects
The projects seem to be coming thick and fast at the moment with 4 new ones launched this week.
Emoticon Shelter Project
5 Months after my last project, I decided to host another this week. The Emote Shelter Project is open for all deviants to make an emote and its surrounding within a set cage size. Emoticons can then be left at the centre for Vacation rest or Adoption. If you would like to emter, you can grab an
empty template and get to work.
Please note all entries must be static and please save them as .pngs to help this project run far smoother
Viking Ship Project
Hosted by =
P0rkch0p, the second project set up this week is based on a Viking ship theme. As it is a flashed based projects it also accepts animated entries. To enter just make a suitable Viking themed entry. Its looking a little empty at the second, so I hope to see some entries soon.
RickRoll ProjectI am sure most of you have been rickrolled (or leoleonardorolled) at one point or another when browsing the net. To celebrate the success or rickrolling, the rickroll project hosted by `
catluvr2 has been started. The idea is to make a collection of rickroll based emoticons. For more information, check out
this articleCandy Shop Project
When I browse the gallery each week I often feel like a kid in a candy store, and with the introduction of the Candy Shop Project hosted by =
mintyy that feeling is now even more true. This project is open for anyone to enter with a candy themed entry. The shop is already filling up, but I look forward to it expanding as more and more entries come in.
