CLEARFIELD REVIEW NEEDS YOUR PROSE, NOW!

`Amberlouie:iconAmberlouie: reports, May 15
:ekud: If you've had your dreamers hat on, its time to take it off and submit your prose to Clearfield Review. <---- (Click on me!)

_______________________
CLEARFIELD, WHAT?
_______________________

Its a bit of a tongue twister, (klir - feld - ri-vyu). Clearfield Review is an online journal of the best poetry, prose and artwork we can summon. Based in Utah, the journal was founded by our very own GM cookie monster, ^fllnthblnk.

At Clearfield Review we envision the journal as a place of wonder and wandering, connecting creative thinkers all across the globe.

The simple plain fact is we WANT to publish you! So, enough hum-drum here's the catch...

______________
GUIDELINES
______________

- Short Stories: we prefer between 500 to 2,000 words.

- Stories beyond this guideline will have to put on a coat and hat to impress us but please, no prose longer than 3,000 words.

- Novel excerpts accepted, as well as Creative Non-fiction.

:postit: Simultaneous submissions are fine, as long as you notify us right away of it being accepted elsewhere.

In the email, please make sure:

- The subject of the submission is as so: The title of your piece - Your name

- The body of the email should contain:
- Your name, or psuedo name and a 40 word bio.
- Prose pieces should be pasted into the body of the text.

Please send us your best pieces which you would love to have published! A maximum of 3 pieces per submission will be considered.

Send Submissions to cr.prose@yahoo.com

Now it's up to you!

_________________________________
Forthcoming Issue #2
_________________________________
3 prose pieces are selected per issue, whilst its not first in, your piece must have its best attire on. Metaphorically amaze us with that pearl necklace, the shine of your beehive hair-do, or make our mouths water with jealousy.

Issue 2 is set to be released in mid-may, including prose from `alienhead, Dan Moreau and `poprocksandcharlotte. Artwork from =charbage and ~anaid-anael as well as talented and underwrapped poets!

:iconamundei:
When you say "your name", do you mean the real name of the user or the dA nickname would suffice?

Also, the 40 word bio is mandatory?

I ask this because I want to submit 3 of my poems, but I don't want to give my name or my bio. (ok, I'll tell you my age and location, but only that :P).

Times come and go...ages flash by and melt into the abyss...life dies...beauty fades...suns extinguish...Nothing is forever. Gods and mortals alike twist and turn in a futile attempt to escape their own extinction...
:icontwilight-apple:
hmmm, interesting. i might have to go through my stuff and find something good to submit.

:iconamberlouie:
Your real name, or a psuedo name (a name you choose to be called rather than your real name).

We like to let our readers know our artists, thats why the bio is in-place.

Poetry submissions are currently closed, you'll have to note Will, ^fllnthblnk if you want to submit. :)

Good luck!
