Make Friends that are on ETSY. You can find friends here at the club, and also on ETSY forums. You also want to make friends with people that sell items like yours, and friends that are interested in items that you have.

Take good photographs. Bad photos = no sell. You should take high quality digital photographs of the items that you intend to sell. Find reasonable lighting or take photos outside in natural lighting.

Make tags, business cards or stickers to put in every package you sell, this will give your customer a way to spread the word. Plus everyone likes to get a good sticker with their order.

Make sure you advertise on sites you are already on. Such as DeviantArt, Myspace, Facebook, Flicker, Twitter, if you have a E-Bay make sure you mention your ESTY shop in each and every auction.

Tag your items correctly! Make sure you include your shop name in tags, if you become popular, people may just type in your shop name into the search button. Make sure you type in popular materials you used. Make sure you type in things that might draw certain people to your item, like punk, retro, americana, vintage, rock-a-billy, kawaii, so on and so forth.

Be Active! Make sure you are active, don't forget to put a link to your ETSY shop in each and every journal you write here on DeviantArt. Also, be consistent, if you want to run an ETSY shop you need at least a few new items each month, the more consistent you are, the more likely you are to sell more items. Remember running a internet business is hard work. Your items will not sell if you just put them up and just wait for them to sell.

Use internet sites, and clubs set up for ETSY sellers. Use us! A great way to get feedback about your shop is the
shop critiques we have at the club, this is also a good way to get your shop out there. Take part in contest, and try to get features, (not only in this club but in other popular clubs)
