Welcome to the Reverse It Writing Contest!


So, for this contest, you have to write a piece of flash fiction (under 1000 words) on the theme of HOPE.

The twist?

It has to be written backwards.

Yes, you read that correctly! Make the end come before the beginning!

You can separate it into parts (ex. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) or simply write it backwards without any separation.

Of course, with any piece of flash fiction, the end always has a twist. In this case, the end (or the beginning that comes at the end) also has a twist. Make us gasp! Make us laugh! Do something different!

Please do not write it completely backwards like this: sdrawkcab. Make sure it's able to be read without a mirror!

DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY, JULY 1ST

RULES:

1. It must be written backwards.
2. It must be under 1000 words.
3. Your submission must be noted to me, ~Candela-di-Vita, with the link included by Wednesday, July 1st. Please put the title of the note as "writing contest entry" or something similar.
4. Only one entry per person.
5. It must be written for this contest. (No previously-written pieces, please.)
6. Put the link to this news article in your artists comments to show others what your piece is for!
