deviantART contains the largest art community on Earth. Within the community, there are hundreds of subcommunities - writers, painters, animators, people who love Harry Potter, people who drink coffee, people who read manga... the list is endless.

This project is aimed at each and every one of the communities within deviantART to bring them together to work in a team with an aim to produce one big beautiful piece of artwork.

How will it work?

First, you'll have to organise yourselves into teams of 2 or 3 people. No more, no less. There is a forum thread here which has been made for deviants to find their team members. More information about how the teaming-up process works is detailed within the thread, so be sure to read it carefully.

Teams will work together to produce a piece of artwork in keeping with the Four Seasons theme and then each finished collaboration will be pieced together to produce one great big beautiful piece of artwork - one made by our community for all the year round.

Teams should contain a mix of mediums - ie, try not to have 2 photographers in the same group, but instead have 3 different media involved.

This project is open to everyone, dA volunteers (^s & @s) included, and is open to all media. Any (non-visual) literature parts of the collaboration will be incorporated in some way into the final big collaboration as well.

If you are using any stock or resources within your collaboration (ie, for reference, photomanipulation, brushes, doll bases, etc) then please make sure you follow the stock artists' rules and remember to give credit.

What can I win?

While I'm all for hoping you're not just in it for the prize, it's good community spirit to give something back when ya'll have tried so hard with your collaborations...

And so there will be Fella Plushies up for grabs.

This project is all about community spirit and team work, and so this is what the judging for Fella plushies will be based on - but always keeping in mind that this is an art site after all - so artistic qualities, techniques, creativity and innovative ideas will also be taken into account.

The members of the team the judges decide has portrayed all of this the best will each win themself a Fella plushie.

This means you can produce a beautiful collaboration, but if you've all become enemies in the process, you won't win! On the same level, if you've worked together wonderfully and become the best of friends then that's great, but if the art itself has been rushed and sloppily put together then you won't win either.
