Drawing Day is a worldwide drawing event encouraging everyone to drop everything and draw for the sake of art. Or at least, that's what that link above will tell you.

Personally, I believe this is a FANTASTIC idea! A day dedicated exclusively to drawing! But isn't it a shame that most artists stay in the dark when it comes to these sort of events? I believe it is. So why shouldn't we, the people of DA do something special out of this?

This June, as part of Project M.A.R., I shall be doing a special news article featuring - if not all - as many artist as I can; artists that have drawn for Drawing Day! But be warned, I will not run around DA to find you guys. You need to show yourself.

How does it work?

Oh June 6, I will submit a special journal entry dedicated to the sole purpose of collecting of artwork make in one day. All you have to do is go there and post your work as a journal comment (simple link to the artwork you did in that day WILL suffice). Only rule is, the drawing MUST be made in that day, June 6.

ANYTHING!!! As long as you DREW it. The sky is no longer the limit for you can draw anything, and I mean ANYTHING! Just as long as you DRAW!!!

What can I gain from this action?

Experience ^^ Oh, and the six (6) most dedicated artists will receive one unofficial participation diploma for the fun of it ^^

It's our day fellow artists, so let's live it to the full!
