I agree, I have always been generous with favoring others work, my favorite gallery will clearly reflect this furthermore I frequently leave truthful comments which hopefully encourage the artists. However over the last six days, or so and for the very very first time I did not give favors. Sadly when i returned recently sadly someone gave me a stinging remark about my absence, even though I had already explained to everyone that I was going to be away due to other commitments including a project I am doing for my niece. Notwithstanding I don't have a computer and have to borrow one so cant always please myself.
I hope you don't mind me sharing the situation with you but there are often two sides to a coin. Each one of us are valuable and we should try not to be easily offended by each other. We cant always be in two places at once.
By the way, the selection of art you have featured are absolutely wonderful!

I agree! Although I myself, must admit to being a ing whore. I try to leave comments on the ones that really stand out to me. However, I have broken my fave gallery into catergories that explain what I liked. I don't always have time to comment on each work but it only take a second to a deviation. As a stocker and manipulator I don't understand why someone can't take a second to a stock photo they liked enough to use.

I found many new faves in this article and want to thank you for including one of my photos as well. I greatly appreciate the support !

Aw, thanks for including a couple of my fractal wallpapers, Kathleen, it never occurred to me that they had not had much exposure, let alone faves. So I appreciate your efforts to redress the balance on these and the pieces by other artists.

You mentioned resources and it's true! I have a tutorial that took me weeks to write... a massive 2500+ people have downloaded it and everyone who has commented says how good it is... yet it has received less than 150 votes of appreciation via the faves system. Go figure.

Oh well, I'm off to have a better look at your selections now - great article by the way (which I will fave!)
